Pack Meeting - TONIGHT!

Special Guest Announcement

It is with great pleasure that I invite all the Cub Scouts to the Pack Meeting tonight as we will be visited by Mission Viejo’s newly elected Mayor, Trish Kelley who elected following the meeting where our Cub Scouts lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Kelley has served the Community of Mission Viejo for 30 years and was honored to continue that service be accepting our invitation to our Pack Meeting as she has for various Eagle Courts of Honor.

Her commitment to Scouting is evident in her own family from herself being a former Girl Scout Leader to helping her boys through both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Within the Community she initiated the Community of Character Program which carried many of the same core values as Cub Scouting.

Additionally, our Den will be presented with the Flag of United States by Congressman Gary Miller’s Office for the commitment to do their best in their duty to God and Country. The flag being presented was flown over the United States Capitol in acknowledgement to the promise made by our Cub Scouts.

Tonight we will be collecting the Book Reports for the 20th Annual “Say Yes to Reading Program”. Remember any paper will do and there is a form available on our Blog’ http://pack766den6.blogspot.com/. Passing our Derby Cars, collecting permission forms for Snow Play and collecting $5 for Casper Camping to reserve your spot (remember first come, first serve!)

I know I am missing something...

Oh have your Scouts ready for some exciting fun!
