Mistletoe Fundraiser - Congratulations!

After two weekends of selling mistletoe the Scouts did a wonderful job! These funds will help cover the cost of camping and other great den activities in 2008.

As we close out this fundraiser and finish off the remaining mistletoe tonight in Lake Forest I wanted to take the time before I get on the bus to let the Scouts know what a great job they did at this fundraiser. The greatest reward was watching the Scouts develop character and strength in various skills through the activity.

Personally, I am looking forward to camping next month as we get 2008 started for our Scouts. Also I want to thank the Akelas for making sure this event had 100% Scout Participation.

For those that would like to help for an hour or so extra we will be selling the remaining Mistletoe TONIGHT at the Albertson’s on Muirlands at Ridge Route in Lake Forest (24251 Muirlands Blvd) from 4:00 – 6:00P. Uniform Optional, hat recommended. Again I want to thank all the Scouts for their help in this fundraiser.
