All - The weather has surely been difficult to predict over the last few days. Because of the importance of this task, many Scout families still intend to participate unless it is actually raining significantly at 5:30pm. Each family will have to use their best judgement as to what is best for them. The site again is El Toro Memorial Park, on Trabuco Road between El Toro and Ridge Route. Please arrive by 5:15pm and park on the grounds.

Seeing our operations in action helps students of all ages better understand what happens after you place an item in your trash and recycling bin and one of our employees takes it away. At Waste Management's Sunset Environmental Transfer Station in Irvine, students have the opportunity to see what happens once our trucks bring trash and recyclables for processing

Waste Management of Orange County operates two transfer stations, which each day handle and sort trash, recyclables, construction and demolition (C&D) materials and greenwaste.  In addition to serving local waste haulers and businesses such as landscapers or construction firms, the transfer stations also serve local residents.  The Orange Transfer Station accepts recyclables such as aluminum, glass and plastic.
