Scouts can invite one (1) Akela to attend with them for FREE. This event is an award for outstanding Mistletoe Sales in December. Events will include Canoeing, Archery, BB Guns, Sling Shots, Campfire Songs and much more. Mark your calendar now. Families needing Camping Supplies (such as, Tent, Sleeping Bag, Sleeping Pads and so forth), please send me an email and we can make efforts to see what supplies others might be able to provide for the event. Scouts are prohibited from sharing sleeping quarters with non-family Akelas; however, Scouts can sleep in a tent designated solely for their use that is not shared with adults. Before you go shopping, please let me know what supplies you need as Coleman offers non-profit discount on supplies used by for the benefit of the Scouting Program.
FORMS REQUIRED: Annual Personal Health and Medical Record MUST be on file with the Den prior to your Scout participating in the event.
Also if you are going to Snow Play or Camping, your annual health and medical record needs to be turned in prior to the event (next Den Meeting). The forms are available on our Blog’ (http://pack766den6.blogspot.com) and are required by the Boy Scouts of America to accompany the Pack/Den on all outings for liability and safety reasons.
