Ms. Schmitt,
I would like to thank you for helping organize the event (agenda, staff, council and so forth) for the upcoming December 3rd Council Meeting. After conversations with various parents and the Mayor we would like to confirm the request and our attendance on December 3, 2007.
Mayor Reavis offered to postpone the Pledge and Invocation under after the closed session at 6:00PM in order to help make this event convenient for our Scouts and their families. Based on overall feedback from our parents we would like to accept that offer to have the Cub Scouts perform the Pledge of Allegiance at the later time.
We will instruct our Parents and Scouts to arrive at City Hall / Mission Viejo Library at 5:45 to prepare and check in for the event. Again thank you so much for helping coordinate this event.
