Bear Den Families –
I want to thank everyone for coming out last weekend to help sell Mistletoe along with those helping with packaging, cutting and preparing for the Scouts to sell.
Last weekend we sold roughly $60.00 on Saturday and $140.00 on Sunday in Mistletoe. This weekend we are looking to sell at a new location (see below).
Of course this fundraising will help offset the camping fees for our Den Family Camping in January.
This year we will once again ask that additional parents and siblings wishing to attend the campout pay their own fees which are set by Council ($15 camping / facility fee, $10 activity fee) along with $10 to the Den in helping to offset the food and supply costs. If we raise enough monies from the Mistletoe the Den will be able to once again cover the cost the Scout and one Parent like last year.
As the Boys grow towards becoming Boy Scouts will be also be asking them to bring a Mess Kit and Aluminum Canteen. I will forward a link with my final 3 of 3 Mistletoe Update next week on obtain these at the Boy Scouts discounted pricing through Coleman.
Without further comment here is our selling schedule for this weekend. If you have time and would like to help us raise money for the campout, please reply which day you can bring your Scout.
Yours in Scouting,
Alan
Den Treasurer
P.S. We have also added a mid-week day on Tuesday.
